"I had some trouble with the desk. A bulb was burned out in my bedlamp; Î asked that it be fixed, but it wasn't by the time I signed out (they said they'd reported it to housekeeping, and were sorry it wasn't fixed). I also had trouble with one of the desk people who claimed he couldn't take our dinner reservation at the hotel restaurant -- that I should wait and make the reservation on Monday when the office was open (I wanted the reservation for Sunday night!). Another hotel person very graciously booked it immediately, when we dropped by the desk a couple of hours later. In other words -- some of the desk people are great; others aren't."
